DON'TCALLMECHAMP (2) resumed over 7f32yards at Naracoorte where he showed little early speed but got home nicely to finish sixth, beaten 4. 5 lengths. Leading player. ALTROVE (18) was in the firing line on the turn and finished third last time over 5½f at Kilmore when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 2 lengths. Ready to go a couple better. OVERTOUX (9) produced another moderate effort last start when 3 lengths from the winner in fifth over 5½f at Kilmore. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
