Race Tip

STEVE'S WAY (6) saluted last start at Wodonga over this distance after she was in the firing line on the bend. Has a very good record over this journey with two wins from three starts. Best figures should see her run well. IMPENDING SHADOW (4) was an impressive winner last time over 6½f at this track, scoring by 3 lengths. Up in the weights but combines again with Ms Rose Hammond and looks sure to measure up. SHE'S PRETTY RICH (3) proved too strong two runs ago at Werribee. Couldn't follow that up last time out when third over 7½f at Morphettville, beaten 4 lengths. Beautifully placed and is sure to be there at the finish. PERFECT GOLD (8) ran a better race when second up last start, finishing sixth and beaten 2.75 lengths at Geelong. Don't underestimate.
