APACHE CHIEF (4) turned in a solid run when resuming last start over this course and distance, finishing second and beaten only 1.4 lengths. Has the speed to overcome the draw. Best figures should see him run well. SNOW MOON (2) missed out last time when fourth over 1m1f at Vaal after filling a minor placing in two races on end, the latest here over 1m2f. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Will give backers a great sight. SOVEREIGN CROWN (5) finished third last time over 1m at Vaal, beaten 3.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again.
