KING OF VENUS (3) built on a nice third when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Vaal with success over 5½f at Vaal a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by 1.3 lengths. Calvin Habib scored on him last time and retains the mount. Meets some better types this time but another big run will not surprise. ZANTHAR (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Turffontein Inside, beaten 3 lengths into fifth. Meets a stronger field but he is up to the task. ARILENA (6) scored in a at Vaal but was below her best last time when fifth over 5f at Turffontein Inside. Well placed to turn things around.
