Race Tip

DYCE (1) scored by 2 lengths last start at Vaal over 5½f. Has a strong record at this trip, scoring five times from nine starts. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Best form puts him right in this. WILLIAM ROBERTSON (2) proved too strong last start and scored by a head over 5¾f at this track. Has six wins here. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Expecting a bold showing. MRS BROWNING (3) last appeared on July 28 when a good seventh over 6f in the G1 Mercury Sprint at Greyville, beaten 2.25 lengths. Worth plenty of thought. QUANTUM THEORY (4) made progress last time out, finishing 2 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 5¾f at this track. Well placed to run top-three again.
