TIME FO ORCHIDS (1) is back from a lay-off of three-and-a-half months. Closed last campaign with a minor placing over 5½f at this track. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. ELEGANT ICE (5) couldn't have been more impressive when resuming last start when she scored by 3.5 lengths over 5½f at Vaal. Fitter for that last hitout and looks a big threat to the top selection. EXCHANGE STUDENT (4) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on August 31 finishing fourth and beaten 3 lengths over 6f at Turffontein Inside. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
