READY TIGER (6) finds it hard to win with two victories from 23 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 1m2f at this track. Best figures measure up nicely. Makes plenty of appeal. BOLD FEELING (5) was prominent from the outset and fought on for second last start over 1m2 1/2f at Cairns, making it three minor placings in a row. Should settle just off the speed despite the draw. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he cannot be left out. ROTHESAY'S RUBY (4) showed little early speed from an outside draw last time then wound up strongly to score a 1.3 lengths win over 7¾f at Mackay. Among the main hopes. STORE BEACH (9) finished 3.1 lengths back from the winner last start at this track on soft going and is down in weight this time. Merits respect on best figures.
