REAL KEY (5) is a distance specialist who improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at Eagle Farm with success over 6½f at Mackay four weeks ago, getting home by a neck. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the key runners. SPEED LEGEND (2) had been in sparkling form winning two races on end but missed the frame most recently when fourth over 6f at this track. Will drift back but wind up late. Leading contender. CHERRY ROSE (6) is going along well and wound up nicely last time over 6½f at Rockhampton to finish second. Goes well over this trip, filling a placing at all four starts, including a win and has to be included. HELLISH (3) scored last start at this track to make it four wins from eight starts this campaign. Goes very well at this journey, boasting three wins from six starts and has solid claims.
