WARRIOR FOR PEACE (3) started at 8/1 last time on the back of a win at Scone two starts ago but was below his best, finishing seventh over 7f in the Country Championships Final at Randwick. Ideally placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. AUSSIE NATION (7) is putting together some solid results. Finished second at Hawkesbury two starts back then landed the prize by a nose as public elect last time out over 1m2 1/2f at Gosford. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to figure in the finish. GRANDINI (5) came from well back on cornering and hit the line strongly to score over 1m2 1/2f at Wyong last time out. Reece Jones who has scored on her three times retains the mount. Expected to measure up. KING KIKAU (2) did a great job to score by half a length over this course and distance last start in a much improved run. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is good enough to cope.
