ECHELON (4) showed good early dash last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing a head away in second over 5f at Muswellbrook. Sure to go well. ALMOST MAYBE (5) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when sixth, beaten 1. 5 lengths, over 5f at this track. Has further improvement to come and looks a clear threat. MISS MERCY (8) was in the firing line on the turn but turned in a sub-par run last time out over 5¼f at Rockhampton after a nice win the start prior. Meets a stronger field but she is capable of running a bold race. ZAMPANO (1) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 4¾f at Moree, beaten 2 lengths into sixth. Has his share of ability and is a top-three prospect.
