SUMMER NIGHT (15) finished fifth when when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6½f at Seymour after racing on the pace for much of the way. Well placed and expected to feature. INSTINCTIVE SPIRIT (10) is a 13-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 8 lengths when eighth over 7f at Echuca. Among the leading chances with the run under her belt. SHADES OF SHERIFF (7) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m4 1/2f at Cranbourne, beaten only a nose after being in the firing line on the bend. Looks well placed so expect another big run. HENRY'S FAITH (9) last appeared a week ago over 1m at Penola when she finished fourth. This is her first run for the Stephen Theodore stable.
