REWARD THE SHERIFF (3) finished sixth when when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Bendigo after racing on the pace for much of the way. Will go forward and is expected to be in the finish. CONGRATSALOT (4) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 10 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when seventh over 5½f at Kilmore, beaten 4 lengths. Nicely placed to play a major role. RAGING MONKEY (16) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Echuca, beaten 3 lengths into fifth after being prominent at the turn. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done. TORVECCHIO (9) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 12 lengths away in eighth over 5½f at Bendigo. No surprise to see her in contention.
