OKESUTORA (6) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fourth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 1m at Colac after he was in the firing line on the bend. Should be peaking now and is a great chance to break through. CORTAIN (1) settled well back then made some inroads and finished 7 lengths away in seventh last time out over 6½f at Ararat a week-and-a-half ago. Steps up in journey. Backmarker who gets home hard. Will be tough to hold out. EASY TURN (15) ran below expectations last time at Yarra Valley, finishing tenth and beaten 8 lengths starting at 13/2. Nicely placed to turn things around. MY TRUTH (3) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Balaklava, beaten 3.5 lengths into eighth. No surprise to see him in the mix.
