YARANGA (5) was well fancied on debut last start and was not far off the mark, finishing third and beaten 3. 5 lengths over 5f at Eagle Farm. Should improve sharply and this looks a nice race. JEANS (1) wasn't far away when resuming last start, finishing second over 4f at Kilcoy when he was prominent throughout. In the money at each of his runs over this longer journey. One of the better hopes. SPIES ON (8) settled back on debut last time out but wound up strongly in the run home to finish second over 5f at this track. Improver with a solid top-three chance. MAGIC INVADER (2) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5f at this track, beaten 4 lengths. Will benefit from that outing. Suitably placed so anticipating another strong effort.
