CORVALIST (2) has changed stables since finishing third over 5f at Grafton five months ago. Goes well when resuming from a lay-off, including three minor placings from four starts. Very hard to beat. SIGLO DE ORO (3) lined up for start 13 last time and after sitting on the pace he tired to finish 11th over 5f at Eagle Farm, beaten 7 lengths. Has a high cruising speed. Expected to be in the finish. SMART SHAZZA (8) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing 7 lengths back in seventh over 6f152yards at Geelong ten months ago. Fitter for three trials, placing most recently. Should be competitive. HEAVY REIGN (9) returns after four-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a seventh over 6f at this track. Nicely placed and can figure in the finish.
