SINGER SARGENT (1) drifted well back then came with a powerful run to finish 0.8 lengths from the winner in second when resuming last start over 7f at this track. Watch for another barnstorming finish. GOT YOURSELF A GUN (4) settled well back when 8 lengths from the winner in ninth over 6½f at Toowoomba last start, a less impressive effort than his when resuming sixth at Warwick the run before. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to take this out. HOOKS (6) finished second two runs back at Kilcoy then improved last time out to score by 1.75 lengths over 1m at this track. Nikita Beriman scored on him last time and retains the mount. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. HUSSY EMPRESS (11) was in the money two starts back at Gatton but couldn't back it up last time when sixth, beaten 2.5 lengths, at Doomben over 1m1/4f. Finds a nice race and can atone.
