DENIED (13) was only a head from the winner in second last time out in a small field over 6¾f at Ipswich at the first run of the campaign on soft going. Emily Lang who has three wins when partnering stays on. Fitter and ready to win. RUNWITHTHETIDE (19) finished fourth two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 7f at Eagle Farm, beaten only a neck after being in the firing line on the turn. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge. BILLIONAIR BABY (12) did well to score at Doomben two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when in contention on the turn before finishing second over 7f at Gold Coast, beaten one length. Steps up a level but he is capable of running a bold race. BEWS (4) went back early from his wide draw over 6f at this track last time but hit the line strongly to finish fourth. Outdashed but got home well and the extra ground looks a big plus. Sure to be winding up late.
