GRAND IMPACT (6) went fast early and went on to score by 0.8 lengths last time out over 6¾f at Wyong. Should be prominent in the run despite the wide draw. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. DEVASTATE (9) is back after a break of six months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 6½f at Pukekohe. Yet to win when resuming but generally runs well with three minor placings from four tries. Sure to make his presence felt. INVER PARK (4) scored a barnstorming win last start over 7f at this track, coming from the tail to get up by a neck. Andrew Mallyon who has two wins when partnering stays on. One of the main contenders. ELETTRICA (11) showed good early dash before weakening to be beaten 4 lengths into sixth over 6¾f at Wyong last time out. Tougher assignment this time but is not to be discounted.
