NITROGEN (4) is back after a break of four-and-a-half months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at his latest appearance over 7f at this track. Good effort to open last prep when in the money at Ipswich over 6f. Ran sixth in a recent trial at Doomben. Has ability and can get off the mark. FLYING D'AMORE (13) is back after a break of four-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff she finished fifth over 6f at this track. No surprise if she was able to get off the mark. PRINCE OF PROPHETS (8) debuted two-and-a-half weeks ago when he finished fourth over 5f at Sunshine Coast Poly, beaten 2.75 lengths. Should be thereabouts. GOLD FEVER (2) has filled a minor placing at his last three outings, most recently when second over 5f at Sunshine Coast Poly. Hard to leave out.
