RUSTIC BOOM (4) is in great form, lifting strongly to score last start over 5½f at Sunshine Coast Poly to make it two in a row. Sure to measure up again. GREAT ASPIRATIONS (2) built on a nice second two starts back at Doomben with success as public elect over 6f at Ipswich three weeks ago, getting home by 1.3 lengths. Ryan Maloney scored on him last time and retains the mount. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. TORONADO ROUGE (11) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on December 27 finishing fourth and beaten 7 lengths over 6¾f at Geelong. Now under the care of new trainer Natalie Mccall. Can make her presence felt.
