STEPMONSTER (3) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2.25 lengths when fourth in a 6½f contest at this track five weeks ago. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. ZAPPIN (1) ran below expectations last time at this track (Dirt), finishing fifth and beaten 12 lengths starting at 9/4. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she cannot be underestimated.
