FARNANHEIT (8) wasn't far off maiden success before a seven months break, finishing the prep with a minor placing at Ballarat Synthetic. Placed in a recent trial. Bold showing expected. Pull My Finger (5) hasn't been far away but remains a maiden after four starts. Last time out he drifted back but got home steadily to be beaten 8 lengths into fifth over 5f at Yarra Valley. Comes down a level this time. Sure to be competitive. SOMETHINGINTHEAIR (7) is a two-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 3 lengths when seventh over 5f at Cranbourne. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration.
