SAXON BLOOD (3) failed to figure again last time over 1m2 1/2f at this track, beaten 7 lengths into seventh. Looks well placed here and can finally break through. VELLASGLORY (4) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m1/2f at Warrnambool, beaten 4 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Won't find this as tough so he is all set to build on that latest effort. BOY FROM OZ (5) ran below expectations last time at Mornington, finishing sixth and beaten 4. 5 lengths starting at 13/2. Will enjoy a drop in class so he will be hard to beat. MONTANA ROSE (7) finished 5. 5 lengths away in fourth at her last appearance over 1m1f at Burrumbeet on January 1 after she was well back on straightening. Solid top-three chance on her best figures.
