MAUNARENTE (15) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 17 starts. Was again denied last start when she found a couple better over 1m1f at Horsham. Best figures measure up nicely. Makes plenty of appeal. EQUINE PHILOSOPHER (1) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Kerang but raced below expectations last time over 1m4f at Bendigo, finishing 14th and beaten 25 lengths. Has the ability to take this out. FEARGAL (5) showed good early dash and led throughout to score by 0.8 lengths last time out over 1m1f at Horsham. Another bold showing expected. FIORENTE SPRITZ (6) has been in the market at her last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest sixth at Ararat over 1m. Can improve and is worth including.
