SECRET STONES (1) finished second as favourite last time out over 7f at Wodonga, making it three minor placings from three starts this time in work. Looks the testing material. GRINZINGER ACE (4) resumes from a lay-off of five months. Could only manage to finish seventh at the latest run over 6f22yards at Geelong. No surprise if he was able to get off the mark. GAMADALE INDI (7) stepped out on her debut over 5½f at Ararat a week-and-a-half ago and finished fourth, beaten 2.25 lengths. Will be better for that run and is expected to go well. MAITIMAUSU (9) has raced twice. Was eighth on debut then clocked-in 1.5 lengths from the winner in third last time out over 5½f at Colac. Probably goes back from a wide draw but can put in some big final splits. Further improvement to come.
