Likely to feature. QUADTRATIC (11) has started twice, running a good third on debut then finishing fifth, beaten 6 lengths, last time over 1m at Pakenham. Has good early pace. Well placed and worth another chance. LUPINE (6) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 8 lengths when fourth over 1m1 1/4f at Kyneton two-and-a-half weeks ago. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. BECQUEREL (5) is a five-start maiden who returned last time and finished fourth at Colac over 1m, beaten 0.9 lengths. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
