SOUTH OF INDIA (9) was a determined winner last time at Hawkesbury, scoring by 0.8 lengths over this distance. Nice weight drop so he is among the leading chances again. VILLA TREVILLE (7) is unbeaten this campaign after two appearances, the latest win coming over 4½f at Newcastle. Darryl Mclellan retains the ride. Should be in the finish. I'M NOT SLEW (13) last appeared when she finished fifth over 4½f at Newcastle on January 11. Yet to win when resuming but generally runs well with two minor placings from four tries. Can make her presence felt. BOSS (14) resumed a week-and-a-half ago over 5f at Hawkesbury and was only beaten 1.4 lengths into seventh. Fitter and sure to run well.
