MISS CARTEL (4) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound second over 6½f at Hawkesbury after being prominent at the corner. Won't find this as tough so she is one of the primary contenders. HOMELAND (6) stepped out on his debut over 5f at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago and finished sixth, beaten 2.75 lengths. Should progress this time and is expected to feature. ROCKBARTON ANGEL (10) has not raced since her debut back on April 3 when she finished fourth over 4½f at Newcastle. Expected to be right there at the business end.
