MOBE TOWN (1) showed good pace over 5½f at Los Alamitos (Dirt) when resuming last time and dug deep to score by 2.5 lengths. Meets some better types this time but he has the ability to test this field. SOUTHERN SLANG (2) improved sharply on his eighth two starts back at Los Alamitos (Dirt) with a win as favourite over 4f124yards at Los Alamitos Qh (Dirt) three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 0.8 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to cope. ALMOST SNOW (7) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 5½f at Pleasanton (Dirt). Solid top-three prospects.
