PANUCO (1) was a placegetter on dirt over 6f at this track in a but missed the frame on turf over 6f at this track last time. Worth following up back on dirt. FAR WESTERN (2) returns from a lay-off of ten weeks. Could only manage eighth, beaten 14 lengths, when resuming last prep at Del Mar (Dirt) over 5f. Chance to topple to top selection as these small fields can throw up surprises. WHISKEYINATEACUP (3) drew wide and was pretty plain last time out when 13 lengths from the winner in tenth at this course and distance. Solid top-three hope.
