SPEEDTAIL (7) was never in contention when 11 lengths from the winner in seventh over 7f at Pakenham last start, a less impressive effort than his fifth at Sandown-Lakeside the run before. Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. VOMO ISLAND (14) returns after a lay-off of four months. Looking to emulate his win at Wyong to kick off the last campaign. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
