Fitter for a minor placing in a recent Balnarring trial. Will be tough to beat. FLYING MEAN (4) resuming in easier company after placing in city grade at Sandown-Lakeside over 6f. Ran sixth in a trial at Cranbourne over 4f. Races well when fresh. Expected to be in the finish. BUVELOT (1) settled well back but hit the line well to finish fourth, beaten 3 lengths, over 5f here last time. Solid top-three prospects. MAYA'S ACE (7) returns from a 30 day break after finishing fourth at Cranbourne last time. Readied for this with a recent trial placing. Rates well and warrants respect.
