ULFBERHT (6) looks close to a win after finishing in the money at both runs, the latest when second at this track over 5½f. Should camp just off the leaders. Best form puts him right in this. LIBER'S IMPACT (3) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 3 lengths when sixth over 6f at Mornington two-and-a-half weeks ago. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the key runners. PRAGUE PRIDE (9) is a two-start maiden who finished seventh, beaten 4 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6¼f at Geelong. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come. LOCHEND PRINCESS (8) finished third last start over 6f at this track, beaten 1. 4 lengths. Will be rock-hard fit. Likely improver with top-three claims again.
