CONGRESSMAN (18) did little and finished 1. 75 lengths from the winner in seventh over 7f at Randwick last start after being prominent at the bend, a less impressive effort than his when resuming fourth at Warwick Farm the run before. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. MAWJOOD (3) built on a nice third two starts back at Randwick with a win over 7½f at this track two weeks ago, getting home by 0. 8 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot score again. GIRIJAALA (16) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Randwick, beaten 1. 75 lengths into fifth after being prominent at the turn. Nicely placed to take this out. And looks close to a win after finishing a close second last time out over 1m at Doomben. Should park just off the speed. Solid claims on best form.
