KNOW THYSELF (2) wound up strongly but just failed to pick up the winner when fresh from a lay-off as favourite last start over 6¼f at Canterbury. Sure to derive great benefit from that run. Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves his chance. BARCELONA EXPRESS (8) showed good early pace over 6½f at Armidale last time and kept going to score by 4 lengths. Taking on a better line-up this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. SILVER HALO (3) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by a nose over 6½f at Scone. MCKEON (7) resumed over 6¼f at Newcastle last start and was too good for her rivals, scoring by a head. Will be better for that latest run and appeals as a solid top-three hope.
