NEXT LEGACY (3) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fourth, beaten 2. 75 lengths, over 6f at Mackay. Should be peaking now and is worth following up. HALFACHANCE (1) finished seventh when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found a couple better over 7f at Sunshine Coast Poly, beaten only 1. 2 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is sure to be right there at the finish. SHEMAKESMENERVOUS (8) was an effortless maiden winner when resuming last time out over 5¼f at this track, scoring by 5 lengths. Raul Silvera Olivera was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Tougher task this time but expected to be competitive again. SCIALLA (5) finished second last start over 7f at this track, beaten 0. 8 lengths. Should be cherry-ripe. Placed to advantage so expect another bold run.
