BENCOOLEN (3) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 4 lengths back in fourth over 7f at this track. Will be handy in the run and should prove hard to run down. JUNGLE BEAT (7) raced below his best last time when seventh over 6½f at this track, beaten 8 lengths. Nicely placed to turn things around. DEEP BLAST (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 5f at Gold Coast, beaten 5 lengths into sixth. Finds a suitable assignment and can find winning form. PRETTY SLICK (6) is racing well, most recently finishing second three weeks ago over 5¼f at this track. Well placed and will be thereabouts again.
