COSMONOVA (18) has been thereabouts recently, the latest result a fifth beaten 1.5 lengths in the G3 Mona Lisa Stakes at Wyong over 6¾f. Will find this tougher but she is a leading contender. BOSTON ROCKS (12) turned in a nice run when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Moonee Valley then missed the placings last time when 3.5 lengths from the winner in ninth over 5½f at Rosehill. Fitter and deserves another chance. KERGUELEN (10) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to just miss when third over 5½f at Rosehill. Has an impressive strike rate at this distance with three wins from four runs and shapes as one to consider. FLYING FOR FUN (15) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Rosehill, beaten 2.75 lengths. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
