WILLYDOIT (6) travelled in a rearwards position then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 3.5 lengths away in eighth last time out over 7f at this track when fresh from a lay-off. Steps up in journey. The testing material. PERICLES (2) went forward when resuming last start and proved too strong, getting home by 1.2 lengths over 7f in the G2 Tramway Stakes at this track. Drawn to enjoy a nice run just off the speed. Steps up a level but he is up to the task. AUTUMN GLOW (4) was in a different class last time, sitting just off the speed before letting down impressively for a 2.25 lengths win in the G2 Theo Marks Stakes at Rosehill over 6½f. Tougher assignment this time but still has winning claims on her best figures. DEPTH OF CHARACTER (9) raced over 7f last time in the G3 Bill Ritchie Handicap at this track and finished third, beaten 1.75 lengths. Suited at the longer journey with the drop in weight and has to be respected.
