ALLHALLOWTIDE (2) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 1m1 1/2f at Canterbury, beaten only 1.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. NAVAL COMMISSION (3) strode forward early from his wide draw to settle just off the lead last start then lifted to score by a nose at Scone over 1m1/2f. Bold showing expected again. WILD CALM (7) was beaten 1.5 lengths into fifth over 1m2f at Kembla Grange last time out. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
