CITY OF LIGHTS (3) won when resuming then found stakes class a lot tougher last time out when ninth over 1m in the G3 Aspiration Quality at Randwick. Well placed and can bounce back. FAY'S ANGELS (9) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1 1/2f at Rosehill, beaten 3 lengths into fifth after being in contention on the corner. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. Group 3 placegetter PIONEER LASS (5) faded last time to finish seventh over 1m in the G3 Matron Stakes at Flemington after showing good early speed. Significant class drop this time. Certainly one to consider. AWESOME WONDER (4) lines up for the first time since August 19. Looking to emulate her win at Wyong at the beginning of last prep. Has a strong when resuming record, scoring on two occasions from four runs. Definite top-three chance.
