CATOGGIO (1) stepped out for his debut over 5f in the G3 Maribyrnong Plate at Flemington back on November 7 and finished fourth, beaten 3 lengths. Likely improver who is worth another chance. IMPERIAL FORCE (4) is a well-related two-year-old colt making his first appearance at the races. By Snitzel from the former top race mare Ultimate Fever who has produced some fine gallopers, including winners at black type level. Coming along well at the trials with a win at his most recent at Rosehill. Has fared well at the stall draw and any market lead would add to the confidence. HEZDARNHOTTOO (3) will find this a little easier than his third on debut two weeks ago, beaten 4.5 lengths at the end of 5f at this track. Has plenty of upside so he can feature again. VAAFEE (8) is a superbly bred two-year-old colt making his first appearance at the races. By American Pharoah from Al Anood who has produced some fine gallopers, including a winner at G1 level. Coming along well at the trials with a minor placing at his most recent at Hawkesbury. Promising type who cannot be left out of calculations.
