Race Tip

CALIDO MAGIC (5) was sent out at long odds last time but ran above expectations to finish fourth, beaten only one length, over 5f at Randwick. Likely to run well again. QUEEN OF A HAND (8) led throughout last start to score an effortless 2. 25 lengths win over 5f at taree. Commendable record at this trip with a win and two minor placings and should be hard to stop. GREY EFFECTS (6) drifted well back last start before storming home to score by 1. 3 lengths over 5f at coffs harbour. Ben Looker who has three wins when partnering stays on. Certainly one to consider. TAKE THE JACKPOT (11) finished fifth over 4½f at Newcastle when resuming last start, beaten only 1. 4 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
