STORM VOYAGER (10) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Bordertown, beaten 4.5 lengths into fourth after being in the firing line on the bend. Stepping up a level this time but on her best form she is good enough to take this out. FINAL CHANCE (5) turned in an eye-catching run over 6f at Bordertown last time, ridden back before coming home with a powerful run to finish third. Will be a major player again. CUBAN LORD (12) last appeared four weeks ago over 1m1 1/4f at Port Augusta when he finished second. This is his first run for the Waylon Hornhardt stable. Kept ticking over since that run with a trial at Port Lincoln. One of the genuine hopes in the race. HEY MICHAEL (4) was in great form at the end of the last campaign with back-to-back wins, the latest over 6f213yards at Port Augusta five months ago. Has a solid record here at the distance with three wins and a minor placing from five tries. This looks a nice assignment.
