BASE OF FIRE (2) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6f at Bordertown, beaten only a nose. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to take this out. REALTIN (4) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 2.5 lengths over 6f196yards at Halidon. Going up a level this time but he is good enough to play a major role. LORD TURNBURY (5) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on April 1 finishing fifth and beaten 6 lengths over 1m1 1/2f at Oakbank. Has to be respected. BELMONT AVENUE (1) last appeared two-and-a-half weeks ago over 7f at Balaklava when he finished seventh. This is his first run for the J Dunn & K Bishop stable.
