BANGERANG REDBACK (1) was in the money two starts back at Murray Bridge but was unable to repeat the effort last time when eighth, beaten 7 lengths, at Balaklava over 7f. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. GAME COVE (2) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.5 lengths from the winner in second over 6f at Bordertown after being in contention on the bend. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the key runners. CHILKO LAKE (7) has been in the market at her last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest sixth at Bordertown over 7¾f. Rates highly on best figures can do much better. ODDSOCK (12) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when sixth over 7f at Balaklava. Nicely placed to break the run of outs.
