CLOVISCONNECTION (5) has three wins and two minor placings from six starts this campaign. Scored last start by 6 lengths in stakes class at Fresno (Dirt) over 6f after being prominent upon straightening. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. ZEUS' WAR (1) opened this prep last start with a third, beaten 4 lengths, over 6½f at Del Mar. Should be in this for a long way. REGAL PATRIOT (2) turned in a fine effort to score by 3 lengths at this course and distance last time out to continue his outstanding recent form. Taking on a better line-up this time but he is up to the challenge. BOB'S BLUE MOON (3) won at Del Mar (Turf) two starts ago but was below his best at a more recent appearance, finishing tenth over 6½f at Del Mar (Dirt). Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Nicely placed to turn things around.
