UNCLE WALT (1) has three placings from five starts this prep and last start finished 1.3 lengths from the winner in second over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt). Useful type who gets his chance. BIG STICK (2) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 4 lengths, over 1m at Fresno (Dirt). Likely to measure up. EDDIE'S WAVE (5) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Los Alamitos. Less impressive last time out when third over 1m1/4f at this track, beaten 15 lengths. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. LIBERTY WOLF (6) ran below expectations last time at this track (Dirt), finishing fifth and beaten 9 lengths. Nicely placed to make amends.
