DR WELL (3) produced a fair effort on debut last time out when 7 lengths from the winner in fourth at this track over 7f. Expected to finish much closer with the race experience on board. THINKER (9) finished fourth last time out over 6½f on turf at Swan Hill, beaten 1. 75 lengths. First try on synthetic. Sure to be thereabouts. ICY YOU (11) is a well-related three-year-old gelding making his first appearance at the races. By Pinatubo from the former top race mare El Daana who has produced some fine gallopers, including a winner at the elite level. Was out of the placings at Cranbourne at his most recent trial. Promising type who is ready to run a bold race. DON'T DOUBT TIGGA (2) could only manage to finish sixth, beaten 5 lengths, at his latest appearance over 7f at Sale after he was well back on straightening. Well placed on this occasion and is a likely improver.
