HIT SQUAD (2) went forward last start over 1m at this track and held on well for third, beaten one length. Will again be prominent from the outset. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. DOUBLET (1) resumes from a lay-off of six-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish seventh at the latest run over 1m2 1/4f at Moe. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Cranbourne trial. Hard to beat if back in good order as anticipated. PEACE SEEKER (9) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten a nose, over 6f at Ballarat Synthetic. Among the better chances. MASTER FOX (3) was prominent into the straight last time but tired late to finish 7 lengths away in fourth over 1m at Echuca. Well placed on this occasion and is a likely improver.
